We are delighted by how much this book has helped readers. We are proud of our
book, Getting Pregnant When You Thought You Couldn't. We invited readers to
write to us and share their experiences. We received so many wonderful letters
that we have been unable to respond to all of them. We have tried to respond to
most of the letters. Warner Books, our publisher has asked us to think about
writing a new edition of Getting Pregnant When You Thought You Couldn't. Our
book came out in June of 1993. Since then, there have been many new
developments. Our original book didn't have information on assisted hatching, on
ICSI, on immature egg retrieval, on immune therapy etc. We have also learned a
great deal more about egg donation since we have now worked with over 300
recipients and have met more than one thousand egg donor candidates. Our new
edition will reflect this information. We have also gotten very involved in
on-line newsgroups and forums on the internet. Our revised edition will discuss
Internet resources as well. We are very eager to hear from readers with their
feedback about our first edition of Getting Pregnant When You Thought You
Couldn't. We would also like to solicit suggestions about new material that
readers would like to see us cover in the revised edition. We hope readers will
send us e-mail comments to yepstein@rci.rutgers.edu --This text refers to the
Paperback edition.
